Privacy Policy & Terms of Service

Welcome to Wallpaper Gallery (the "App", "we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to protecting the privacy of merchants and their customers. This document outlines how we handle information, comply with Shopify App Store requirements, and provide our services.

1. Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.

        Core Privacy Principle: We do NOT collect, store, or sell any personal identifiable information (PII) of your end-customers (buyers), such as customer names, physical addresses, payment cards, or phone numbers.
      

Information We Collect

When you install and use the App, we collect certain store-related information necessary for app operation:

Store & Merchant Information: Your store domain (e.g., your-shop.myshopify.com), primary email address, and OAuth authentication tokens to securely communicate with the Shopify API.
Product & Catalog Data: Product IDs, titles, handles, images, and artwork dimensions (width and height in centimeters) that you explicitly configure in the App settings.
App Configuration Settings: Custom layout preferences, accent colors, and plan subscription statuses saved in Shopify Metafields.

Customer Room Uploads

When a customer uses the room preview feature to upload a photo of their room, the image is rendered and processed locally in the customer's web browser via temporary object URLs. We do not store, distribute, analyze, or use customer room photos for machine learning or advertising purposes.

How We Use Your Information

To provide core visualizer features on your online store theme.
To save real-scale artwork dimension settings (cm) in your store metafields.
To manage subscription billing and plan features via Shopify's Billing API.
To communicate critical app updates or support inquiries.

GDPR & CCPA Compliance

We strictly honor Shopify's mandatory GDPR and CCPA webhooks. All merchant and store sessions are automatically purged when the app is uninstalled:

`customers/data_request`	We do not store customer PII. Any inquiries are acknowledged and confirmed immediately.
`customers/redact`	No customer PII is retained on our database. All data requests are completed.
`shop/redact`	All stored session tokens and merchant data are permanently purged within 48 hours.
`app/uninstalled`	All active sessions are deleted immediately upon app removal.

Data Security & Retention

We protect your store information using industry-standard TLS encryption, secure database access controls, and vetted cloud infrastructure. Information is retained only as long as you maintain an active installation of the App.

2. Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using Wallpaper Gallery, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please uninstall and discontinue using the App immediately.

License Grant

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Wallpaper Gallery on your authorized Shopify stores in accordance with your selected plan tier.

Subscription Billing & Free Trial

Plans: We offer Free, Basic, Pro, and Enterprise tiers (billed monthly or annually).
Free Trial: Paid plans include a 14-day free trial period. You will not be charged if you cancel before the trial expires.
Billing Processing: All subscription fees are billed through Shopify's secure Billing API and appear on your regular Shopify invoice.
Cancellation: You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time via the "Pricing Plans" tab in the App.

Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership and intellectual property rights over all artwork, images, and content displayed in your store. The App code, design, branding, and algorithms remain the exclusive property of Wallpaper Gallery.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wallpaper Gallery is provided "as is" and "as available". We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use the App.
